Then, good luck spending the $30/day credit. Tiles on the bathroom floor has been cracked and not replaced. No microwave, no coffee maker, no mini-fridge, no USB outlets for phone chargers, very few electrical outlets. The room was okay but very dated, but also without some of the amenities we’ve come to expect in this price range. We came back later, stood in line for about a half hour, and a far more helpful clerk explained there were outrageous taxes and fees charged on top of the $56 rate (false advertising!), and in addition, they put a security hold of $150 on our charge card.(!) The check-in clerk at the front desk rudely explained she didn’t see anything on our booking about the promotional rate or the $30/day credit for food and drinks. Three nights $56/night became a charge of $580 on our credit card in addition to the $65 deposit we’d paid.
